The Ryukyu Kenpo Karate Kobudo Rengokai (琉球 拳法 唐手 古武道 連合会)was established as an umbrella organization, to help improve the standards and training of its member organizations. It is Headquartered in Leawood , Kansas. One of the main purposes of the Association is to bring together many of the different Okinawan and Kenpo (Kempo) based Organizations and strengthen them with advanced training, principles, and concepts. It, also, ensures that its members receive the benefits of becoming more knowledgeable and capable instructors. It is open for membership to:

We are not interested in politics and do not interfere or dictate in the way that members run their organization or any other affiliation which they may be involved with. When requested, we endeavor to assist members in any way possible through our global information network.

Organizational Affiliation
Organizations and Schools are welcome to affiliate as members with the Rengokai. The membership is Lifetime and includes:

• All the members of the school
• Affiliation Certificate for the Organization.
• Individual Membership for Head Instructor.
• Profit Sharing System for the School Owner/Head Instructor.
• Dojo Licensing (if desired).
• Access to high level expertise in Martial Arts.

• Signed and sealed Kyu rank certificates available for you to fill out.

        For affiliation, please send us an email with the personal résumé, photo and copy of the graduation diploma of the School Owner/Head Instructor. Send it to Association Headquarters. Affiliation certificates are normally handed over at Rengokai events when members are introduced to the organization.

Black Belt Membership
        Membership for Black Belts who are not affiliated with a school:
Same as the Organizational Affiliation, $100 LIFETIME Membership! This includes a Membership Certificate, Individual Membership, and all other benefits given to the Organizational Affiliations. (Currency Converter) Membership certificates are normally handed over at Rengokai events when members are introduced to the organization.
        For affiliation, you will need to send us an email with your personal résumé, photo and copy of graduation diploma. Send it to Association Headquarters.

Individual Membership
        Individual Membership with the Rengokai can only be obtained through an affiliated school. Talk to your instructor, if your school is affiliated with us ask to become an Individual Member. If Your school isn't affiliated with us, ask your instructor to visit our website!

In order to protect the integrity of the Rengokai, all organizations and unaffiliated Black Belts must be vetted, personally, before they can be admitted to membership. All students and instructors of a member organization automatically become members of the Ryukyu Kenpo Karate Kobudo Rengokai. Basic membership is FREE. Member organizations can attend and/or organize seminars of the Ryukyu Kenpo Karate Kobudo Rengokai when they want and where they want. This is a SERVICE organization FOR its MEMBERS.

       The Ryukyu Kenpo Karate Kobudo Rengokai accepts, but does not certify nor issue certificates for, the rank currently held by members joining the Rengokai that was issued by other organizations. In addition, we leave all Kyu (colored belt) level certification in the hands of the individual Dojo and Organizations. The RKKKR does accept applications for Teacher and Dan level certification from Individual Members, authorized by their organization, who wish to verify their current, or progress to another, level.
